New Hampshire NASCAR Practice #2 Notes

Jimmie Johnson – Started with a 21 lap run that had him 8th on the speed chart. Had good long run speed and the second best ten lap average. Said his center was tighter later in a run. Didn’t like his brakes late in practice.

Kasey Kahne – Has a fast car and has been pleased with how it’s performed. “Really similar to yesterday.” 45 minutes into practice while he was 9th he said, “Everything felt better there.”

Austin Dillon – 30 minutes into practice while he was 22nd he said he was better on entry but still a bit tight on exit. Working to find more speed. His tires were chattering late in practice.

Ricky Stenhouse Jr. – 20 minutes into practice while he was 20th he said, “That was definitely a positive change.” Late in practice while he was 23rd he said, “When I settle down into the corner it won’t turn.”

Michael McDowell – 20 minutes into practice he said, “As far as gains, the attitude and entry feel better. The tires don’t have any grip.” 50 minutes into practice he said, “Just feel like I’m having to park it on entry. Lot of drive off of the LR tire,” Said a late change made him tighter.
