Martinsville 2 Early Week Pre-Practice Top 20 Fantasy Projections
Round 3 of the 2017 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs kicks off this weekend at Martinsville Speedway. This is the last real short track race of the season, although you could make a case for Phoenix in a couple of weeks getting that title. Anyway, the Cup Series drivers are scheduled to run 500 laps at “The Paperclip” on Sunday, and there are a couple of other wrenches that are going to throw teams–and Fantasy NASCAR players–through a loop this weekend: first, they’re going same-day qualifying again this weekend, so the starting lineup will be set on Sunday afternoon, and two, we might finish this race underneath the lights, as the First Data 500 is scheduled for a 3 pm ET start.
