Texas 2 Early Week Pre-Practice Top 20 Fantasy Projections
We got our first real drama of the 2017 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs last weekend at Martinsville Speedway, as Denny Hamlin wrecked fan-favorite Chase Elliott to try a steal a win at “The Paperclip.” The latter hinted at possibly revenge here at Texas Motor Speedway this weekend, although it’s hard to imagine that sort of thing coming to fruition. With that being said, I said the same thing about the Matt Kenseth/Joey Logano conflict a couple of years ago, so we shall see. Texas is another 1.5-mile “cookie cutter” race track so we should have a pretty good idea of who’s going to run well here on Sunday.
