Phoenix NASCAR Happy Hour Practice Notes

Kevin Harvick – Had really good speed over his opening long run. Good short run and long run speed. Best 10,15 & 20 lap averages. Seems pretty confident.

Denny Hamlin – Has a strong car. Worked on fine tuning this session. Fast over long runs. Said he’s overall happy with his car. Said he unloaded close.

Darrell Wallace – Said he was really bad in practice #2. Ten minutes into Happy Hour he said, “It’s freer but I can’t hold my line anywhere.”

Alex Bowman – Did some experimenting in practice #2. Liked his car a lot more in Happy Hour. Ten minutes into practice he said, “The center is much better this run.” Wants a little more take off speed.

Ty Dillon – 15 minutes into practice he said, “Entry balance is good. It’s much better than where we were.” 40 minutes into practice he said, “That was definitely better. Those changes helped my entry and middle.”
