Auto Club NASCAR Practice #2 Notes

Kevin Harvick – Jumped to the top of the speed chart early. Had great long run speed over his opening run. Ended the session with a long run. Had the best 5, 10 and 15 lap averages.

Martin Truex Jr. – In a pre-practice interview he said this session was mostly about shaking down their car and getting the balance close. Has a good car.

Clint Bowyer – Late in practice his team told him that his lap times were comparable to the fastest cars.

Alex Bowman – Early in practice while he was 20th he reported that he was tight in the center. He showed improvement during the session.

AJ Allmendinger – Midway thru practice while he was 14th he said changes helped the rear but he was still a little tight across the front ,and tight on throttle. 35 minutes into practice while he was 4th he said he was massively tight and missing something in the front.
