Texas NASCAR Practice #2 Notes
NOTE: This practice session was 50 degrees colder than yesterday.
Ricky Stenhouse Jr. – Slammed hard into the wall. He’ll be going to a backup car and will start in the rear of the field. He’ll be scored from his 26th place starting position.
Kurt Busch – Said this practice session wasn’t that relevant because the track conditions will be different in the race. Did a lot of pit road speed work this session.

Kyle Busch – Said his car feels good but he wasn’t where he wanted to be on the speed chart. Wasn’t concerned because tomorrow will be completely different. Said his car has been pretty good since he unloaded.
Austin Dillon – 20 minutes into practice while he was 11th he said, “It handles fine.” His team thought his car was good and consistent this session.
David Ragan – Following his opening run he said, “It’s pretty grippy. It’s pretty unrealistic of what it will be like tomorrow.”
