Chase Elliott’s crew chief is suspended for Bristol and Richmond

Following Texas, Chase Elliott’s #9 team has been given a L1 Penalty after failing inspection because of a rear window issue. This problem is similar to Harvick’s from Las Vegas. As a result of the penalty Elliott’s crew chief will be suspended the next two races and he’ll lose 20 owner points and 20 driver points.

Kenny Francis will serve an an interim crew chief the next two races.
