Kasey Kahne – Started in race trim and was loose. Following his second run he said, “Pretty much the same.” 30 minutes into practice he said, “That was better. Still falls off pretty quick, though.” Following that run he went to qualifying trim. At the end of practice he said he was better that time. Pretty free but overall OK. “It’s definitely something we can work on for qualifying. Good changes.”
David Ragan – 20 minutes into practice he said his car felt “on top of the racetrack” and there was more speed in his car. He was 21st at the time. With 10 minutes left in practice he jumped up to third and said, “The balance was better.” Following his last run he said, “Car’s pretty close.”
