Bristol NASCAR Happy Hour Practice Notes
Kurt Busch – Spun in the closing minutes of practice and wrecked. He’ll be going to a backup car and will start in the rear of the field. He’ll be scored from the 2nd place starting position. Busch liked his car prior to wrecking.
Ricky Stenhouse Jr. – Loves his race car this weekend. His team said his car has “natural speed.” While he was 11th, 25 minutes into practice he said his most recent run was loose. Ended the session 8th on the speed chart. He was really happy with his car at the end of practice.

Kyle Larson – Practiced running at the top of the track. He was essentially the only driver who practiced in that groove. Said his car was pretty decent running the bottom. Said he will be good no matter what line he races.
Kevin Harvick – Wasn’t happy with his car 10 minutes into practice. He said he couldn’t even drive it. Said his team needed to make some big swings.
William Byron – His car was OK for a few laps but then it really started chattering. Wasn’t that comfortable.
