All Star Race Post Practice Fantasy NASCAR Predictions
The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series isn’t holding a points-paying race this weekend at Charlotte Motor Speedway, but there are two events taking place on Saturday night: the Monster Energy Open and the Monster Energy All Star Race. The starting lineup is already set for the All Star Race (click here to see that) although the winners of the three stages in the Open will also transfer in. Be sure to check back after that race is over to see updated All Star Race predictions with all of the drivers.
There are also some significant changes taking place for tonight’s All Star event, most notably the use of restrictor plates. This is the first time we’ve seen restrictor plates used at a 1.5-mile track. The cars will also feature a six-inch spoiler along with different front splitters and aero ducts–all in an attempt to create more passing. We shall see how this all plays out, but it should be a very good race.
