Charlotte Coca-Cola 600 Early Week Pre-Practice Top 20 Fantasy Projections
The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series teams will stay in Charlotte, North Carolina this weekend after an exciting All Star Race last Saturday night. This week’s event is the big one, though: the 59th running of the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. This track is another 1.5-mile venue, so fantasy players can get a good idea of who should run well this weekend by looking at the races ran on that track length this season. One thing to note, though, is that this is the point of the season where teams that struggled out of the gate catch up on the ‘leaders’ a little bit. Also, at 600 miles, this is the longest race of the season, and the Coke 600 really tests the durability of both the cars and engines as well as the drivers and pit crews.
