Fantasy NASCAR Asterisk Mark Report – Charlotte
Kurt Busch – Charlotte has been a great track for Kurt Busch. Last fall he finished a misleading 22nd, in the five races prior to that he swept the top ten. Last fall Kurt Busch was a top five contender but with 3 laps to go while he was running in 5th he spun which dropped him deep in the field leading to his poor result. His average running position was 8th.
Kyle Busch – Kyle Busch had a great car last fall at Charlotte and was a top five contender but finished a misleading 29th. On lap 137 while he was running in 2nd he got into the wall hard. That wasn’t his last problem. He got into the wall again on lap 219, he spun out with 56 laps to go and then with 10 laps to he slammed into the wall again. Prior to his first problem he led 22 laps and was poised to be one of the drivers to beat.
Kyle Larson – Kyle Larson was a top five contender last fall at Charlotte but he finished a slightly misleading 10th. When Kurt Busch spun with 3 laps to go Larson had some slight contact with him which cost him a few positions. With 16 laps to go prior to the late mayhem ensuing he was running in 4th.
