Chicagoland NASCAR Happy Hour Practice Notes

Brad Keselowski – Started with a run in qualifying trim. Jeff Burton thought his car was really good in practice #1 in race trim. He must seem to like his car this session because at the end he thanked his team. His average speed ranked as the 6th best.

Joey Logano – Started with a run in qualifying trim. Appears to have a pretty good car. His average speed ranked as the 5th best.

Kevin Harvick – Started with a run in qualifying trim. Made a long run and had really good speed. His average speed ranked as the 3rd best.

Martin Truex Jr. – Started with a run in qualifying trim. Had great speed in race trim. His average speed ranked as the best.

Kyle Larson – 15 minutes into practice while he was 15th his spotter told his crew chief, “I feel like we’re pretty good.” Said he had a brake issue late in practice. Got slightly into the wall. His average speed ranked as the 8th best.
