Fantasy NASCAR Asterisk Mark Report – Kentucky

Jimmie Johnson – Last year at Kentucky, Jimmie Johnson had top ten potential but finished an asterisk mark 40th. During the Stage #2 restart he had contact with Keselowski and wrecked. At the end of Stage #1 he finished 9th. At the time of the restart he was running just outside the top ten.

Brad Keselowski – Brad Keselowski had a solid race last year at Kentucky but finished a misleading 39th. During the Stage #2 restart he had contact with Jimmie Johnson and wrecked. At the end of Stage #1 he finished just outside the top ten. If he would’ve had an incident free race I think the 2016 winner likely would’ve finished in the top ten.

Ty Dillon – Ty Dillon didn’t have a great car last year at Kentucky, but he wasn’t 33rd place bad. He had major brake problems develop extremely early (unscheduled pit stop on lap 21) which doomed him to a poor result and led to him finishing 21 laps down.
