Michael McDowell – Got hard into the wall 15 minutes into practice. He’ll be going to a backup car and will start in the rear of the field. He’ll be scored from the 29th place starting position. McDowell cut a left rear tire. In his backup car he didn’t complete any laps.
Landon Cassill – Got into the wall late. He’ll be going to a backup car and will start in the rear of the field. He’ll be scored from the 34th place starting position.

Martin Truex Jr. – Has a strong car. Logano thinks he has the best car. When he was racing near Hamlin he passed him and drove away.
Kevin Harvick – Joey Logano views his car as one of the best. Many people in the garage think he has the best car. Very quick on the stop watch. Chase Elliott said that Harvick can pick up the gas aggressively. Very happy with his car.
Kyle Larson – Had contact with the wall before he completed his first lap. His team will be able to repair his car.
