Kasey Kahne – Following his opening ten lap run which put him 5th he said “Started off good and turned well on entry and exit. Then started to get tighter in the center, and not turning out of the grip as quickly as I had been.”Following his second run he said, “That took off better. It was definitely turning better in 1&2. As I went though, the car started to still go tighter.”
Matt DiBenedetto – Early in practice while he was 23rd he said, “Just too tight, but it’s got a lot more lateral grip and a lot more rear drive, just bound-up everywhere.” 20 minutes into practice while he was in 31st he said, “Still kind of bound-up, not loose at all. Just having to park it a little bit to get it to turn.” 30 minutes into practice while he was 32nd he said “That was the biggest thing of everything we’ve done. Definitely in the right direction and the front cuts a lot better with that setup.”
Michael McDowell – Ten minutes into practice while he was 27th after running 9 laps he said “Real tight center/off.”
