Pocono NASCAR Happy Hour Practice Notes

Joey Logano – Went through inspection before he practiced. Started in qualifying trim and his opening run put him at the top of the speed chart. In race trim his car was pretty quick. His average speed this session ranked as the 9th best.

Kevin Harvick – Started in qualifying trim. His early lap put him at the top of the chart. He later went to race trim and laid down some quick laps. Made a 15 lap run and said, “Pretty good there.” Had the best 5 and 10 lap averages. His average speed for the session ranked as the 2nd best (ran twice as many laps as Truex Jr.).

Kyle Larson – Spun at the end of practice and had slight contact with the wall.

Kyle Busch – Started in race trim and had a very fast car. His average speed ranked as the 4th best.

Martin Truex Jr. – Started in race trim. Very fast. Had good long run speed. Much better this practice session. His overall average speed ranked as the best.
