Pocono NASCAR Practice #1 Notes
Clint Bowyer – 15 minutes into practice while he was 2nd his team said he was great compared to the 24. Better than the 22 up until the 4th lap. Bowyer said he was a little too loose. Bowyer ended the session 5th.
Alex Bowman – Ten minutes into practice while he was 10th he said “Free off on all three ends.” 15 minutes into practice while he was 15th he said “That change didn’t really give me what I needed. I will bring it back to you.” 25 minutes into practice while he was 17th he said “I don’t have any security to get off the corner still, especially off of turn 3.” 30 minutes into practice he said “In Turn 3, I can’t really turn the wheel. Especially in the bumps.” 35 minutes into practice he said “That change helped the back a little bit. I just lost all my rotation off of three.”

Brad Keselowski – Had electrical issues. Midway through practice he only completed one lap. “I went to one battery and it seems to be trying to work here.” “It shut back off. I have power but it last for three seconds tops.” I think his electrical issue might be fixed because he ran 8 laps in the second half of the session.
JJ Yeley – 15 minutes into practice he spun and brought out the caution. He didn’t hit anything.
Austin Dillon – Late in practice while he was 17th he said he was much tighter that run.
