Talladega 2 Early Week Pre-Practice Top 20 Fantasy Projections
The final restrictor plate of the 2018 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series season is this weekend as the Round 2 of the Playoffs continues. Chase Elliott is locked into Round 3 thanks to his win at Dover last weekend, and Kyle Busch and Kevin Harvick have significant enough leads in the points that they could probably afford a bad race this weekend. If you’ve been playing Fantasy NASCAR for very long at all, you’ll know how crazy these plate races can get, and there’s no reason to think that we won’t see some carnage on Sunday. So far on this track type this season we’ve had Austin Dillon (Chevrolet) go to victory lane in the Daytona 500, Joey Logano (Ford) take the checkered flag at the first Talladega race, and Erik Jones (Toyota) win in the second Daytona race. I guess this Sunday’s 1000Bulbs.com 500 is kind of a tiebreaker race for the manufacturers, huh?
