Martinsville 2 Early Week Pre-Practice Top 20 Fantasy Projections
The final real short track race of the season is this weekend at Martinsville Speedway, and it’s also the first race of Round 3 of the Playoffs. The Stewart-Haas Racing Fords have been the class of the field at the short tracks this year, and that was the case the first time we were here at Martinsville this season, as Clint Bowyer went to victory lane after leading 215 of the 500 laps. Kevin Harvick also posted a top 5 finish in that race, while Ryan Blaney (also in a Ford) led 145 laps. One important thing to note this weekend is that this is an impound race, and inspection will take place starting at 7:30 am Sunday. Any car that fails inspection will have their qualifying time disallowed and start from the rear, which will have major Fantasy NASCAR implications.
