Regan Smith – Following his opening 10 lap run he said, “The drive off is pretty good, but I think that’s where we’re going to need it. The track is still too green and too cold though. I’m loose in and not to where I needed to be yet on air pressure.” 20 minutes into practice he said, “Felt like my drive was ok for as edgy as the track is right now.” 25 minutes into practice during his second run he said, “The change only hurt the 40-50% mark there rolling off the turn. The drive off is good.” 45 minutes into practice he said, “That was swinging the back too much in. The back now swings on entry… I didn’t like that.”
