Texas 2 Early Week Pre-Practice Top 20 Fantasy Projections
Whether you like it or not, Joey Logano is locked into the Championship Race at Homestead this weekend, and now there are two races left before the Final Four are decided. Right now the “Big Three” have pretty large points leads, but that can obviously change with a win by one of the other four drivers on the outside looking in. This weekend’s race at Texas Motor Speedway is the AAA Texas 500, which means it’s a 500-mile race. Most of the races at 1.5-mile tracks this season have been 400 mile events, so keep that in mind this weekend. For what it’s worth, Kyle Busch has won two of the three 500+ mile races on 1.5-mile tracks this season and started on the pole in the one he didn’t win (Atlanta, where Kevin Harvick won). One of those wins was right here at Texas back in April.
