Las Vegas NASCAR Happy Hour Practice Notes

Clint Bowyer – Following his first run he said something was wrong. Said his car was wrecking loose.

Ryan Blaney – Jeff Gordon liked how his car looked. Late in practice while he was 11th he said, “I don’t know what everyone had for tires there but it felt fairly racy.”

Denny Hamlin – 30 minutes into practice while he was 23rd he said, “I just can’t hold the gas down.”

Kurt Busch – Started with a 15 lap run and was happy with his car. He was pleased with his car during his second run also. His car was said to be not too far off. 30 minutes into practice he was 7th. 35 minutes into practice he reported he was tight.

Alex Bowman – Ten minutes into practice while he was 14th he said, “Edgy loose everywhere.” 15 minutes into practice he said, “Down on grip. We had way more grip in qualifying trim.” 30 minutes into practice he said, “I felt like that was a lot better. Still really darty and loose, but better.” Late in practice he reported he was still super edgy.
