Phoenix (ISM Raceway) Early Week Top 20 Fantasy Projections
After two straight races at 1.5-mile tracks, the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series hits Phoenix this weekend–recently renamed ISM Raceway, but that hasn’t really caught on–which is a 1-mile D-shaped flat track. In my opinion, Phoenix always produces some great racing action. In between the two races here last season, the track did some reconfiguring and moved the start/finish line from what used to be the frontstretch into what is now considered Turn 4. Last fall was the first time we saw this new configuration, and we had quite a few cautions that shook up the race, but that’s not to say that the new placement of the start/finish line was solely responsible.
