Race Notes
Kurt Busch who won the pole selected to start in the high-line. He quickly moved down to the low-line in a coordinated effort in front of his teammate (Clint Bowyer). Kurt Busch, led 55 of the first 56 laps.
Heading into turn #1 the Stewart-Haas Racing cars were all lined up and were running 1,2,3,4
Big Moment: On lap 2, David Ragan slowed on the track because of an oil pressure issue. A little later he went to the garage.
Notable Moment: On lap 12, Jeffrey Earnhardt had a tire go down and spun. This damaged his hood and brought out the first caution. This dropped him two laps down.
It was mentioned during the telecast that on lap 13 all the Ford teams were planning on coming in under green. During the caution everyone pitted.
