Pocono Early Week Top 20 Fantasy Projections
The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series marches on into the hills of Pennsylvania this weekend for the Pocono 400. “The Tricky Triangle” has also been a very unique race track, as it really only has three turns and none of them are the same. This provides a lot of challenges for drivers and teams. Additionally, with the addition of the Stages, Pocono has almost been a Petri dish of a race track: because of its massive size and the ability to pit without going a lap down, many crew chiefs will experiment with a variety of different strategies to set up their track position later on in the race. This is also an impound race, so any car that fails pre-race inspection, that driver will have his qualifying time disallowed and have to start from the rear. He will also be scored from there in Fantasy NASCAR.
