Pocono NASCAR Happy Hour Practice Notes
Matt DiBenedetto – He missed Happy Hour because his team changed engines. He’ll be starting in the rear of the field on Sunday. He’ll be scored from where he qualifies.
William Byron – Started with a 9 lap run that put him 9th. Chad Knaus said, “You’re doing good. We’re only looking for about a tenth-and-a-half,”
Kyle Busch – Early in practice he said something was really bad with his car in turn 2. He returned to the track shortly and his car was much better. He ended the session 6th.
Brad Keselowski – Started in qualifying trim and jumped to the top of the speed chart. He later worked in race trim and his car had really good speed. Late in practice it was reported something didn’t feel quite right with his car. He ended the session 2nd.
Kyle Larson – His car was much better this session. He was good in race trim and qualifying trim this session. A late qualifying run jumped him up to 3rd.
