The Fantasy NASCAR Low Tier – New Hampshire
David Ragan – At New Hampshire, set your expectations low for David Ragan. On Sunday, I think he’s a mid to high-twenties driver. In recent races at New Hampshire, Ragan has been consistent and over the last five races he’s finished between 29th to 32nd. Over those combined races he has a 29.8 average finish and a 29.2 average running position. Last year in the lone race held at New Hampshire he was simply a high-twenties driver. He finished 29th, had a 28th place average running position and earned the 28th best driver rating. In 2017, Ragan had a pair of 29th place finishes for the season. This year at the two shorter flat tracks visited he has results of 25th (Phoenix) and 28th (Richmond).
Corey LaJoie – At New Hampshire, I think Corey LaJoie will likely prove to be about a mid to high-twenties driver. This year at he two shorter-flat tracks visited which correlate to success he finished 26th in both races. At New Hampshire over the last three races he has a 28.3 average finish and a 29.7 average running position. In the last two races here he’s been really consistent. In them he started 33rd in both races and finished 27th in both races.
Ross Chastain – Look for Ross Chastain to be a high-twenties to low-thirties driver at New Hampshire. This year at the two shorter-flat tracks visited he has results of 27th (Phoenix) and 30th (Richmond). Last year at New Hampshire when he made his track debut he finished 25th and had a 28th place average running position.
Landon Cassill – Landon Cassill doesn’t have any upside at New Hampshire. On Sunday, I think he’s realistically a high-twenties to low-thirties driver. This year at the two shorter-flat tracks visited he has miserable results of 33rd (Phoenix) and 35th (Richmond). At New Hampshire in 4 of the last 5 races he’s finished in the 20’s. Last year, in his current ride he crashed and finished 37th. He only completed 13 laps so you really can’t gauge how good he was. In 2017 when he was in a slightly more competitive situation he had results of 23rd and 25th. In 2016 his results were 28th and 29th.
