Kevin Harvick who won the pole selected to start in the low-line. He led the opening 30 laps.
Erik Jones really liked his car. His strength was how he rolled through the center of the turns. He started in the rear of the field but he was moving up pretty quickly.
Running order at approximately about lap 15: 4,1,18,22,19,37,21,3,17,2 … 24,14,42
Kyle Busch had a great car and his team really liked his pace. Around lap 20 he was up to 2nd after passing Kurt Busch.
On lap 31, Kyle Busch took the lead. He then led the next 101 laps.
Running order following the pit stop for the lap 40 competition caution: 18,4,22,1,19,21,37,3,14,2 … 88,24,42,17,41,12,13,20
Joey Logano liked his car and had good drive off the corners around lap ~55. At that time he was running in 2nd.
Chris Buescher was running really well. He was in 5th place around lap 60.
Brad Keselowski liked his car and was running in the top ten at approximately lap 70. He didn’t practice well prior to the race, but it was mentioned he normally doesn’t but he races well.

Stage #1 Top Ten Finishers (Lap 100): 18,22,19,4,14,2,1,37,21,41
Notable Moment: While running in 17th early in Stage #2, Kyle Larson had contact with another car and got a major tire rub. He then made an unexpected pit stop. It dropped him nearly two laps down. He was just ahead of race leader Kyle Busch following his pit stop.
Big Moment: On lap 128, Kyle Larson crashed hard into the wall. This marked the end of his race and led to his last place finish.
Running order at approximately lap 130: 18,22,19,2,4,14,1,20,37,88 … 21,41,3,24,11,48,17
Notable Moment: During the Kyle Larson caution, Kyle Busch was caught speeding while leading which dropped him back to 24th. Martin Truex Jr. then inherited the lead.
Martin Truex Jr. really liked his car around lap 150 while leading. At that time he said his car was way better this run.
At lap 165, Ryan Blaney thought he had a tire going down.
Top five at approximately lap 180: 19,22,4,2,14
On lap 194, Joey Logano passed Martin Truex Jr. for the lead.
Late in Stage #2, Ryan Blaney got lapped by Joey Logano.

Big Moment: On lap 243, Michael McDowell got into the wall hard. His right rear tire blew out. This marked the end of his race.
