Talladega 2 Early Week Top 20 Fantasy Projections
The last real “wildcard” race of the season is this weekend at Talladega Superspeedway. This is really the final time where the on-track racing itself can have major Playoff implications, as opposed to just mechanical issues and driver/team mistakes, as we saw last week at Dover. The last time we were here at Talladega, it was Chase Elliott that went to victory lane, and only 21 cars finished on the lead lap. With that being said, the fall race at ‘Dega always seems to be more tame; in 2018, 29 cars finished on the lead lap, and in 2016 a whopping 34 cars ended up on the lead lap. The 2017 fall race here was a crazy one with only 13 cars ending up on the lead lap.
