Daytona 500 NASCAR Practice #3 Notes

Ty Dillon – He’s going to change a gear and as a result he’ll start in the rear of the field in the Daytona 500. He’ll be scored from his starting position (24th).

Denny Hamlin – 15 minutes into practice he was leading a JGR Toyota contingent of cars. His car looked pretty good. In an interview he said he had great speed. He did some work on handling this session. He seems pretty confident.

Matt DiBenedetto – His car has a lot of speed in it. He feels good about his car this weekend. He said his car felt really good. He said his car feels better today then it did yesterday.

Kevin Harvick – Harvick didn’t practice this session. His team was doing some repairs to the right side of his car. His crew chief said they have a great car.

Kyle Larson – He practiced running by himself. It was speculated he was looking for a little more speed.
