Las Vegas Early Week Top 20 Fantasy Projections
After a wild and scary ending to the Daytona 500, the NASCAR Cup Series heads out west to Las Vegas for the next stop on the 2020 schedule. This is the earliest the series has ever raced at Vegas, as this event is typically in early March but got shuffled back a couple of weeks this season with the schedule changes. Last year, it was Joey Logano in victory lane here in the first race and then Martin Truex, Jr. took the checkered flag in the fall race. It’s interesting to note: just three drivers who started inside the top 5 finished inside the top 18 here at Vegas last March, and only two finished inside that mark in September. Starting position didn’t matter much in Sin City last year.
