Auto Club Early Week Top 20 Fantasy Projections
The first “real” race of the season was last weekend at Las Vegas and it brought with it some surprising happenings both throughout the entire race as well as the end. The Hendrick Chevrolets looked stronger than they have in a while, and Chase Elliott had the field covered until he had a flat tire issue. Also, the Joe Gibbs Racing Toyotas all struggled except for Martin Truex, Jr. until he hit the wall. Will we see this again in race #3? The NASCAR Cup Series is at Auto Club Speedway this weekend. This track is a 2-mile venue, and is the sister track to Michigan Speedway. Kyle Busch dominated and won here at Auto Club last year, and at Michigan we saw Joey Logano and Kevin Harvick in victory lane in 2019.
