Darlington #2 Fantasy NASCAR Confidence Ranking Picks
1) Kevin Harvick (Starting 20th)
Kevin Harvick will be tough to beat at Darlington. On Sunday en route to victory lane he led 159 laps, had a 2.4 average running position, ran the most fastest laps (77), earned a near perfect driver rating and ranked as the 2nd “Fastest Driver Late In A Run.” Starting 20th will greatly increase his level of difficulty, but I wouldn’t count him out. He’ll have the best pit stall and he’s using the same car which is a proven winner. The track conditions will be different, but you can count on the #4 team adapting. One attribute you have to love about Harvick is how well the #4 team is running. He’s finished in the top ten every race this season and over the last three races his 4.0 average finish is tied for the best in the series. (DraftKings $11,600 / FanDuel $13,200 )

2) Denny Hamlin (Starting 16th)
Two-time Darlington winner, Denny Hamlin will be a contender on Wednesday night. He’s thrived here and in his career he’s finished in the top five 53% of the time and in the top ten 80% percent of the time. On Sunday, Hamlin finished 5th, ranked as the “Fastest Driver Late In A Run” and had a 5.9 average running position. In 2019 at Darlington, Hamlin crashed while running in 4th late. In the four races prior to that he had results of 10th, 1st, 4th and 3rd. (DraftKings $10,700 / FanDuel $12,500 )
3) Chase Elliott (Starting 17th)
Chase Elliott will be a contender at Darlington. In 2020, the #9 team has been fast everywhere and that includes “The Lady In Black.” On Sunday, Elliott finished 4th and ranked as the 8th “Fastest Driver Late In A Run.” At Darlington since 2016 minus 2019, Elliott has a 7.5 average finish. One attribute you have to love about Elliott is how well the #9 team is running. Over the last three races his average finish is 5.0. (DraftKings $10,300 / FanDuel $11,700 )
