Bristol Post Qualifying Draw Fantasy NASCAR Predictions
The 2020 NASCAR Cup Series motors on this weekend with the Food City presents the Supermarket Heroes 500 at Bristol Motor Speedway. The good news? We finally get some short track racing. The great news? There’s no rain in the forecast this weekend! Like Darlington one weekend ago, the starting lineup was set by random draw for Sunday’s Supermarket Heroes 500, and there will be no practice. You can check out how they will line up by clicking here.

Final Top 25 Fantasy NASCAR Rankings for the Supermarket Heroes 500
1. Chase Elliott – Starts 6th – DraftKings Price: $11,300 – FanDuel Price: $13,000 – Slingshot Price: $12,100
Chase Elliott is the safe pick to win here on Sunday and go back-to-back within a four-day span. Realistically, this #9 Chevrolet could have three of four wins this season, but this team has only been able to get to victory lane once…so far. I could honestly see Chase ripping off a few wins over the next month. There’s no doubt this #9 Chevrolet has been fast this season, and Elliott’s average green flag speed ranking of 3.3 since Daytona is proof of that. Here at Bristol, Chase has two top 10s in the last three races and has led a total of 183 laps over that span as well. If he’s not in victory lane in Thunder Valley on Sunday, he’ll definitely be interviewed–either for getting wrecked, or for nearly getting the checkered flag.
2. Joey Logano – Starts 3rd – DraftKings Price: $10,700 – FanDuel Price: $11,700 – Slingshot Price: $11,800
I’m expecting a very strong day out of Penske Racing here at Bristol on Sunday, in big part due to the fact that they occupy three of the top four starting spots. But even if they didn’t have good luck in the random qualifying draw, the Penske Fords would be a force to be reckoned with here in Thunder Valley this weekend. As far as Logano goes, he’s a two-time winner at Bristol and has finished inside the top 10 in seven of the last nine races at this track. Additionally, he’s led 241 laps over the last three races here, and has also won two of the last three Stage 2s here. Joey went to victory lane at Phoenix earlier this year, which is the shortest track we’ve raced at in 2020 thus far. While technically not a short track, I expect Logano to have similar success here at Bristol on Sunday as well.
3. Kyle Busch – Starts 7th – DraftKings Price: $12,500 – FanDuel Price: $14,000 – Slingshot Price: $12,600
I mentioned before that Chase Elliott is a “safe” Fantasy NASCAR pick here at Bristol on Sunday, and the same can be said for Kyle Busch. Bristol Motor Speedway is Kyle Busch’s playground. He’s won here eight times in his career–and that’s only counting Cup Series races. You can add in an additional nine wins in the Xfinity Series here as well as five more in the Truck Series and you’re looking at 22 (!!) wins at this track in Kyle Busch’s career. Just insane. Rowdy has four top 5s in the last five Bristol Cup races, and three of those have also been wins. If he’s not contending for the win on Sunday it’s because the #18 Toyota got into the wall.
