Fantasy Impact of Kurt Busch starting in the back at Atlanta

Kurt Busch is going to have to start in the rear of the field at Atlanta and he’ll also have to do a drive thru penalty under green when the race starts.

To be honest, I don’t think it will have a huge impact. It’s certainly not ideal, but there will be an early competition caution on lap 25 to save him.

Busch has had a fast car all season long and at the two most predictive races for Atlanta this season (Auto Club and Darlington #1) he finished 3rd in both races. On Sunday, I would still pencil him in for a top ten.
