In the race he finished 9th in Stage #1, 7th in Stage #2 but in the final Stage with about 139 laps to go while he was running around 5th he was involved in a multi-car accident.
Clint Bowyer – Clint Bowyer was a top five contender last fall at Martinsville, but he finished an asterisk mark 35th. In the race he finished 4th in Stage #1 but around lap 250 while he was running in the top five he had a flat tire and made an unexpected pit stop. When he came in for his pit stop his team only changed one side of his car, and it was the wrong one which completely doomed his afternoon. Around lap 222 prior to his problem he was running in 2nd.
