Daniel Suarez who started on the pole led the opening 49 laps. He choose to start in the bottom line.

While running in 5th on lap 28, Keselowski reported that he had a right front vibration.

On lap 42, green flag pit stops started. Clint Bowyer was the first driver to come to pit road.

Ryan Blaney said his car was chattering really badly around lap 44 when he made his green flag pit stop.

Notable Moment: On lap 47, Chase Elliott had a flat tire. It brought out the first caution. This dropped Chase Elliott a lap down. This dropped Clint Bowyer a lap down. Bowyer took the wave around. This dropped Ryan Blaney two laps down. He took a wave around and was now just 1 lap down.

Pit strategy was all over the board during the Elliott incident.

Race off pit road: 2,1,10,4,18,22,19,8,24,42

Notable Moment: Corey LaJoie spun shortly after the restart following Chase Elliott’s flat tire.

Brad Keselowski really struggled during the LaJoie caution restart and fell back in the running order.

Notable Moment: On lap 64, Landon Cassill brought out a caution after he had contact with Bayley Currey. Ryan Blaney and Chase Elliott got back on the lead lap at this time.

Brad Keselowski was reported to have engine issues around lap 67. It was said he had an engine valve spring problem.
