Notable Moment: During the competition caution, race leader Joey Logano’s team had an uncontrolled tire. Chris Buescher also had an uncontrolled tire at this time.
During the restart following the competition caution, Kyle Busch shot to the lead. He then led the next 52 laps.

Notable Moment: On lap 143, Chris Buescher spun and it brought out a caution. He was running in 25th at the time.
Some pit strategy happened during the Buescher caution. Jimmie Johnson, Tyler Reddick and John Hunter Nemechek took two tires which got them near the front. Blaney took two tires also, but he was close to the front already.
