Final Top 25 Fantasy NASCAR Rankings for the Xfinity 500 at Martinsville
1. Brad Keselowski – Starts 3rd – DraftKings Price: $10,800 – FanDuel Price: $13,500 – Slingshot Price: $11,900
If you flash back to the last race here at Phoenix, we probably would have had Brad Keselowski in victory lane that day if it wasn’t for the late cautions. He was coasting to a win in the desert until all hell broke loose in the final stages of the race. And then Kez ended up on the wrong tire cycle from every else, got damage on a late restart, and finished 11th. But don’t forget that he wound up leading 82 laps that day, which brought his career total to just 248 laps led at Phoenix. As far as this season finale goes, I don’t see Keselowski dominating this race, but I think he’s going to use strategy–as he usually does–to be there at the end. This #2 Ford has been incredibly fast all season long on the short, flat tracks, and this team is bringing the same car that they dominated and won with at both Richmond and New Hampshire.
2. Joey Logano – Starts 2nd – DraftKings Price: $10,000 – FanDuel Price: $13,300 – Slingshot Price: $11,800
I’ve been heavy on the Penske cars at shorter flat tracks all season long so why stop now? Joey Logano is going to be near the front all day long on Sunday and if his pit crew can be as blazing fast as they were at Martinsville last weekend, he could very well be our 2020 NASCAR Cup Series Champion. On the shorter flat tracks this year, Logano has the best average running position (4.4), the best average finish (3.0), and the best Green Flag Speed average rank (3.4). Here at Phoenix, Joey not only won here back in March but also led 93 laps in last year’s fall race. This #22 team has essentially had three weeks to prepare for this race, too.
3. Kevin Harvick – Starts 11th – DraftKings Price: $11,100 – FanDuel Price: $12,300 – Slingshot Price: $12,800
There’s no rule that a non-Playoff driver can’t win the race with this format, and if anybody is going to do it, it’ll be Kevin Harvick at Phoenix. Simply put, this track is his playground. Harvick is a nine-time winner at Phoenix Raceway and came home 2nd here in March after finishing 1st and 2nd in the first two Stages. That makes it 14 straight races at this track that Harvick has finished 9th or better, with all but one of those being finishes of 6th or better. On the shorter flat tracks this season, Harvick has an average running position of 9.5 (5th-best) but if you take out Martinsville it jumps up to 3rd best at an average position of 6.7.
