Austin Cindric to attempt to qualify for the Daytona 500
Today it was announced that 2020 Xfinity Series champion, Austin Cindric would attempt to qualify for the 2021 Daytona 500.
Cindric will be piloting a 4th Penske car.
In the lower series at Daytona, Cindric has finished in the top EIGHT in 3 of the last 4 races.
Team Penske confirms Austin Cindric to attempt to qualify for the Daytona 500 in a Penske car (an open car). Car number 33. Miles Stanley, engineer for Blaney, will be Cindric crew chief for D500 & other Cup races (TBA). Stanley to work with Blaney when Cindric doesn't race Cup
