Kyle Larson – Kyle Larson will change his engine and start in the back. Larson started with a +20 lap run which was extremely quick. His opening run was the quickest across all the lap count averages. His early 20 lap average was .136 quicker than Tyler Reddick’s. Larson said his car felt really good. He ran on the bottom early and then moved to the top.

Alex Bowman – His car was pretty sporty and he was good on the stop watch. Ten minutes into practice while he was 6th he told his team that his car was better than it was in the first practice session. After running ten laps he told his crew chief his car is really, really good. Following a run 20 minutes into practice he said that he can’t really run the top because he is tight center.
Bristol Happy Hour Practice Speeds and 10 Lap Averages
Ty Dillon – Damaged his car about 15 minutes into practice when he ran into a “Durtle” (bump on the track meant to keep drivers higher on the track). It looked like a good amount of damage to the #96.
Austin Dillon – In practice #1, Dillon was said to be taking care of his equipment as to the reason he was slow. His car was said to have a lot more speed then he showed in that session. 25 minutes into practice while he was 21st he told his team that his car is really, really good.
