Charlotte NASCAR Happy Hour Practice Notes
Kyle Larson – Larson started practice with a long run and had great speed. At the time of his run he had the best 10 and 15 lap average. Late in practice to close out the session, Larson did a qualifying run (put him 3rd at the end). Larson said his car felt good in practice.
Austin Dillon – Five minutes into practice while he was 14th he was really happy with the handling of his car. His car had good speed this session. To conclude practice he did a qualifying run that jumped him to the top of the speed chart. Dillon said his car raced well behind other cars and was good in clean air.
Ryan Blaney – 25 minutes into practice while he was 25th he said, “I have no faith in the back of this thing.” His team then took a big swing at changes.
Tyler Reddick – His car appears to have great speed this weekend. 15 minutes into practice he was 6th on the speed chart after running 18 laps. 25 minutes into practice while he was still 6th he said the last change helped with what he was fighting.
