Road America Fantasy NASCAR Practice Notes
Kyle Busch – He was fast right at the start of practice and was at the top of the speed chart. Ten minutes into practice he reported something didn’t feel right with his car (sway bar or shock issue he suggested to his team.) 35 minutes into practice he crashed. He’ll be going to a backup car on Sunday. He’ll be scored from where he qualifies.
Ryan Preece – He went off-roading early in practice and destroyed his front splitter. It was a notable amount of damage and he’ll be going to a backup car on Sunday. He’ll be scored from where he qualifies.

Austin Cindric – Cindric was running good lap times this session. His opening lap put him 2nd, his second lap was actually quicker and he closed the gap to Kyle Busch who was #1 at the time. Cindric ended the session 3rd on the speed chart.
Tyler Reddick – His first run put him 5th on the speed chart. Following his run he said he was lacking rear grip on lefthanders, but had good speed overall. Late in practice he jumped up to 3rd.
William Byron – He used his first couple of laps this session to get used to the track. His opening run put him 16th. 25 minutes into practice he said, “Tight finishing the corners especially the high-speed right handers.” At the time of those comments he was 20th. Byron ended the session 11th.
