Fantasy NASCAR Asterisk Mark Report – Darlington #1 2021

Christopher Bell – Christopher Bell was a top five contender earlier this year at Darlington, but his race was far from incident free. In the race, Bell had his first problem during the Kurt Busch caution around lap 106 when he was caught speeding on pit road. Bell battled back, and finished 10th in Stage #2. Bell’s final problem happened with 4 laps to go while he was running in 5th and slammed into the wall which led to him coming to pit road. When the race reached its conclusion, Bell finished 14th. In terms of Total Speed Rankings, Bell ranked as the 8th Fastest.

Joey Logano – Joey Logano was also a top five contender earlier this year at Darlington, but he finished an asterisk mark 13th. In the race, Logano finished 6th in Stage #1, 7th in Stage #2 but then during the final pit cycle on lap 255 when he was running in 4th prior to his problem he was caught speeding on pit road.

Aric Almirola – How good was Aric Almirola this spring at Darlington? I don’t know, he only completed 5 laps before he totaled the #10. In the race, Almirola started in the rear of the field (inspection) and climbed up to the high 20’s before his swift demise.
