Brad Keselowski who started on the pole selected to start in the bottom lane and he led the opening 4 laps.

On lap 5, Kevin Harvick took the lead. Harvick then paced the field for the next 9 laps.

Early in the race, Jeff Gordon said he seen Ricky Stenhouse Jr. scrub the wall.

Big: On lap 6, Aric Almirola who was in the high 20’s after starting in the rear of the field crashed. His car was totaled and it marked the end of his race.

On lap 14, Kyle Busch took the lead and he then led the next 8 laps.

Notable: While leading on lap 22, Kyle Busch spun and brought out the caution. He had a flat tire and didn’t hit anything. Busch remained on the lead lap.

On lap 27, Martin Truex Jr. took firm command of the lead and then paced the field for the next 34 laps.

Big: Cole Custer pounded the wall hard on lap 99. He was running around 30th at the time. He had contact with Alfredo.

Big: Kurt Busch crashed on lap 106. He was running around the mid-teens at the time. He had contact with Bubba Wallace.

Notable: During the Kurt Busch caution, Christopher Bell was caught speeding on pit road. He was running around 7th at the time.

Notable: Alex Bowman came to pit road on lap 139. He had a tire going down. His car also had some damage. The next lap, Ryan Blaney who he had contact with came to pit road. They were both running in the top ten. This was shortly before the green flag pit cycle started, so it didn’t punish the drivers too much.

Kevin Harvick liked his car around his green flag pit stop around lap 140. He said the longer he ran, the better it got.
