Ricky Stenhouse Jr. – Bristol ranks as one of Ricky Stenhouse Jr.’s best tracks, but it’s also become a frequent trouble spot in recent races. Over the last four races at Thunder Valley he’s been involved in an accident and has finished 33rd or worse. Last summer, nobody had a shorter race then Stenhouse and he completed 28 laps before wrecking which led to his 40th place finish. At the time of his demise he was in 16th.
Denny Hamlin – Denny Hamlin had a great car at Bristol last summer, but he finished an asterisk mark 21st. In the race, Hamlin started in the rear of the field, finished just outside the top ten in Stage #1, was in 5th on lap 204, but then on lap 216 he was shown to have a ton of damage to his nose after he ran into the back of Martin Truex Jr. The #11 never ran well after that.
Alex Bowman – Alex Bowman was a top ten contender last fall at Bristol, but he finished a misleading 16th. In the race he finished 4th in Stage #1, 6th in Stage # 2 and then on lap 301 he made an unexpected pit stop. On lap 282 shortly before his problem he was running in 6th.
