1) Denny Hamlin – Denny Hamlin is the premiere superspeedway racer in NASCAR and at Talladega, look for the defending fall winner to race hard and go all out since he’s already locked into the next round. In 4 of the last 6 Talladega races, Denny Hamlin has finished in the top 4. This spring, Hamlin ranked #1 in our PROS Rankings and he led 43 laps before his trouble started around lap 92.

2) Ryan Blaney – Ryan Blaney is an elite superspeedway performer who’s always tough to beat. Blaney recently won at Daytona, and over the last eight races on this track type he has 3 wins, he’s finished in the top two 50% of the time and only has two finishes south of 9th. At Talladega, Blaney has won 2 of the last 4 races and this spring he finished 9th.

3) William Byron – William Byron needs to win, and last summer when he needed to be clutch at Daytona he raced his way to victory lane. Over the last three Talladega races, Byron has a series best 5.7 average finish. This spring at Talladega, Byron spun into the grass at the end of Stage #2 but rebounded to finish 2nd.
