Notable: During the Stage #1 caution, Christopher Bell got a pit penalty and had to drop to the back because he pitted when pit road was closed. He did this to spend more time repairing the front of his car. Bell actually lost a lap at this time since he didn’t beat the pace car. He was now a lap down in 30th.
Brad Keselowski had a slow pit stop and lost about 7 spots during the Stage #1 caution. He was now back to around 20th.
