Fantasy NASCAR Asterisk Mark Report – Dover 2021
Kyle Busch – At Dover, Kyle Busch has some weird bad luck mojo in spring races, and last year, that trend continued. Make sure you read all about that in our Dover Top Tier Elite Picks post. Last year at “The Monster Mile”, it’s hard to say how good Kyle Busch was because he reported engine problems on lap 24. That issue turned out to be a plug wire or something along those lines and his team eventually fixed it, but not before he fell down multiple laps which doomed him to a 27th place finish. Shortly before his problem, Busch was running in 6th.
Ryan Blaney – Last year at Dover, Ryan Blaney finished 12th, but it’s important to note his race wasn’t incident free. In the race he finished 3rd in Stage #1, and then in Stage #2 around lap 171 under yellow while he was in 3rd, Blaney had a cut tire and had to come to pit road early which dropped him to the back.
